Buster Shepherd, CLF, director and owner of OFG National, has over 30-plus years experience in the insurance/financial services industry. A former teacher/coach in Indiana and former sportswriter for the Indianapolis Star newspaper, he was introduced to the business by a mutual friend in 1974. Buster has become one of the premier agency builders in the nation and has earned numerous national company honors for his recruiting and sales performances. He has also been the featured speaker at several state and national professional insurance meetings.

Buster is a graduate of the University of Indianapolis and completed his Masters Degree from Indiana University. Buster and Bonnie have been married for 40 years and the proud parents of five children and have two grandchildren. Bonnie is a freelance writer and they reside in Colorado Springs, CO.

Pat allowed his brother to dream and ends up serving as President of a fine organization. As a financial planner and a knee-to-knee life insurance sales person for several years, Pat won many company and industry awards for quality and consistency. A lonely Seminole in a sea of Huskies, Pat received his Business degrees from Florida State University in Marketing and International Business. From there it was into the golf business as an assistant pro where he met several insurance guys that played a lot of golf. A third generation insurance executive he was attracted to that lifestyle and became an associate with Northwestern Mutual briefly before joining Franklin Life. Pat is passionate about the Direct Response Life Insurance business; he made the first sales from the first inquiries made at TermOnly.com. He leads the company, orchestrates the actions of all the teammates and manages carrier relationships for increased service and compensation for all of the company's brokers.

Brad Howard, Director of Brokerage Operation is one of the nicest gentlemen you will meet. Brad entered the insurance business in November 1982 as a career agent with Franklin Life Insurance Company (Later American General) while attending the University of Texas. He was Rookie of the Year and earned various sales and agency building awards and recognitions throughout his 21 years. Brad came to InsuranceOnly and OFG National in 2001 and rounded out OFG's "Dream Team". Brad embraces technology, core principals and teamwork. Regarding agents today Brad had this to say, "It's a different breed of agent today, they're more entrepreneurial and looking for smarter ways to do business. That's our market. "Nickware 4.0" as his teammates call him, represents all the reporting and hard work that Nick does for the organization. Commission Accounting is an important activity for Nick and he backs this up with significant roles managing the lead distribution system and generating reports on the company's activities. Nick is a graduate of Colorado State University and is a world traveler.
